External Solicitation and Campus Access Policy


Westminster College is a private campus committed to the safety and well-being of its students, faculty, staff, and invited guests. To maintain a secure and distraction-free environment, the College does not permit individuals or organizations who are not directly sponsored by a Recognized Student Organization or campus department to engage in activities such as tabling, distributing materials, selling goods or services, recruiting students, canvassing, or soliciting funds. All external individuals and groups must be formally sponsored and registered in advance through the appropriate College processes. Uninvited or unsanctioned activity is prohibited, and individuals may be asked to leave campus to ensure community safety and compliance with this policy.

RSOs and campus departments will need to abide by campus policies that permit invited guests and certain types of solicitation such as 1) Use of Westminster College Facilities by Campus Departments, Personnel, and Recognized Organizations, 2) Student Expression, Protests, & Principles Against Intolerance, and 3) Posting Print Materia and Event Promotion.
