This program, sponsored by the Center for the Environment, is composed of designated and elective courses from those disciplines, and environmental science. The purpose of the program is to provide the broad background and understanding necessary for effective work on problems of the environment and for careers in environmental science. Due to the number of overlapping courses, students will not be allowed to double-major or complete a combined major in Environmental Studies and Environmental Science. Additionally, students will not be able to major in Environmental Science and minor in Environmental Studies.
