Entrepreneurship Minor

The Entrepreneurship Minor is intended to introduce Westminster College students to the basic concepts and tools necessary to think entrepreneurially, identify opportunities and acquire knowledge about how to convert and pursue opportunities. It will prepare students to either start their own ventures, work in an established company as an intrapreneur, work with other entrepreneurs or develop the necessary skills needed to introduce and commercialize ideas.
Entrepreneurship students will:
- Gain the skillset of how to think entrepreneurially (whether starting their own successful venture or ntroducing their ideas to current or potential employers).
- Learn how to evaluate, plan and manage new business opportunities.
- Gain contemporary entrepreneurial experience by solving real business challenges and working with local executives.
- Develop and execute a business concept from idea incubation through commercialization.
