Supply Chain Management Concentration

By the end of this program students will have the following skills and knowledge:
- A strong understanding of how any products reach their consumers - from manufacturing to delivery.
- The ability to design and implement a full supply chain and demonstrate the necessary analytical skills to account for complexities.
- The necessary mathematical breadth, and mastery of technique to analyze supply chain data.
- The necessary critical thinking and knowledge base to optimize and improve existing supply chains using Six Sigma, Lean Inventory or other methodologies and heuristics.
- Advanced skill in analyzing real supply chains to identify strengths and inefficiencies.
- Experience in interacting with the real supply chains of large corporations.
- The ability to express supply chain solutions clearly using effective written, oral and visual communication.
- The ability to think creatively about supply chain solutions and account for real-world road blocks.
This independent concentration may be declared by students of any major.
