CLU 211 - Appalachian Environmentalism(s) Semester Hours: 4
This is an interdisciplinary introduction to the ways that Appalachian people have engaged their environments throughout history and today. The course is divided into three units: storytelling, belief, and justice. Each unit works within a different discipline (including literature, folklore, history, anthropology) to explore the diverse ways that Appalachian communities have engaged the world and their place in it.
