CMP 130 - Introduction to Podcasting

Semester Hours: 4

This course introduces storytelling and recording practices to students in the form of podcasting. Students will learn how use recording studio spaces, microphones, and Adobe Audition to produce radio and streaming appropriate content. A focus on production materials provides a concentration on creating scripts, conducting audio interviews, scheduling, and researching for hands-on student experience. Students will learn to use both professional and consumer-grade equipment.
