MBA 791 - AI Foundations for Managers

MBA 791 develops managerial AI literacy for students who will evaluate, sponsor, communicate, and govern AI-enabled work rather than build models themselves. The course teaches students how to distinguish common forms of AI, screen use cases before they become unfocused projects, use generative AI responsibly, evaluate vendor and pilot claims, prioritize where an organization should begin, and recommend bounded initiatives with credible measures and guardrails. The course is intentionally practical: each major assignment asks for a leadership artifact that could plausibly support a workplace decision.
