SMGT 370 - Sport Law

Semester Hours: 4

A study of law as it pertains to the sport industry. Legal principles pertaining to a variety of topics including risk management, contracts, antitrust law and intellectual property will be presented and applied to sports organizations. Text, class discussions and case studies will emphasize legal reasoning processes.

Prerequisite: SMGT 110 or instructor consent and sophomore standing
