PSY 425 - Positive Psychology Semester Hours: 4
This is an upper-level psychology course focusing on Positive Psychology. Concepts addressed include emotions and happiness, character strengths, well-being in the past, present, and future, processes of change, relationships, workplace applications, successful aging and the meaning of life. This course will explore both the historical and contemporary theories and approaches and include research and relevant primary sources. Students will apply course material with experiential assignments to understand how positive psychology can be used to enhance their daily lives.
Prerequisite: PSY 101 and PSY 201 When Offered: Alternating Years
