BA 327 - Practical Applications for Business Intelligence

This course teaches students critical skills for succeeding in today’s data-intensive world, including business case studies, data analysis, and management recommendations. Students will learn how to utilize database systems and analytics software to make trustworthy predictions. Students will design business processes: 1) that accomplish specific desired outcomes, 2) to identify, document, model, assess, and improve core business processes,3) and gain hands-on experience in collecting and organizing data, and communicate specific positions or points of view from data through a combination of data-driven visuals and a carefully crafted storytelling technique.

Prerequisite: Prerequisite: BA 225 and ECO 220 or instructor permission
