SED 862 - SED PK-12 Pre-Student Teaching Internship

This internship course provides teacher candidates with seminar sessions and clinical experiences in teaching and assessing students in special education PK-12 settings. The candidates will teach lessons, administer assessment instruments, use curriculum-based measurements, and evaluate and interpret the results for instructional purposes. This course is part of and must be taken alongside the Early Childhood Education Teaching and Learning Laboratory courses. Personal transportation is required. PDE Stage 3 - Pre-Student Teaching: 140 hours.   

Completed Phase I Foundations courses. Minimum 3.00. GPA.  Current PDE Clearances: PA Criminal History, Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and PPD Testing.
