ART 201 - Waterbased Painting

Semester Hours: 4

This course is designed as an introduction to working with water-based painting. Topics including painting technique, color theory, composition, and material choice will be encountered across a variety of representational painting exercises. Technical proficiency and conceptual exploration will be emphasized within a supportive, challenging, and fun environment developed to promote skill-building and successful creative outcomes. This course can encompass all levels of skills. Meets Visual and Performing Arts Intellectual Perspective requirement (VP).
