EDU 266 - Exploring Literacy Connections

Semester Hours: 2

Children’s literature can be dream making, inspiring, captivating, and informing. This course will provide a broad understanding of the many genres in children’s literature and a contemporary view of strategies and techniques for involving children with this literature. It will also include a review of the current research on issues related to children’s literature. Children’s literature appropriate for PreK4 children will be emphasized. PDE Stage 1 - Observation required: 05-10 hours.
