ECE 352 - Social Studies

Social Studies PreK-8 is a required course with the goal of equipping prospective PreK-4 Early Childhood teachers with tools for teaching social studies to children. This course requires that the student works to develop initial ideas of social studies teaching which include methods of content selection, methods of teaching, and be able to explain the critical role of social studies education in the school curriculum. This course must be taken in combination with ECE 362 Observation and Assessment PreK-4.
