ECE 342 - Literacy in Primary

Semester Hours: 2

An introductory study of various literacy theories. Emphasis is placed on exploring how literacy curriculum, instruction, and assessment inform each other. Systematic evaluation tools for proficient and struggling readers are explored. This course must be taken in combination with ECE 362  Observation and Assessment PreK-4.
